about Joni....
Joni is a Jackson native.  Born and raised.  After attending Southeast Missouri State University, Joni graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Adminstration.  During her quest to complete her education, Joni and her husband relocated to St Louis for a brief time.  Her time in the big city helped her see many different ways to celebrate life moments.  Joni uses those experiences in her party planning today.  After having two children, Joni became determined that every birthday would be unforgettable.  From children's birthday parties, baby and bridal showers, coororate events, and weddings - Joni has the experience and desire to make your event special and memorable!!! 

For the last couple years Joni has been successful at running her own custom clothing and hair bow business - Trendy Tots Bowtique.

Trendy Events and Parties is truly a dream come true for Joni.  After years of planning (and dreaming), Trendy Events and Parties was born in early 2008.  What started as a fun hobby to express her creative outlet, quickly turned into a full-service event planing business!  After you meet Joni (or attend one of her events) you will quickly realize her obsession...Planning!  You will also realize she loves to laugh and have fun!  These are the characteristics in which Trendy Events and Parties was built.    At Trendy Events and Parties, their dream is to not only have fun but to issure your event is stress-free and memorable.  Whether it be at a childs birthday party ,a night out with the girls, or your DREAM wedding - we will do our best to make your event fun and special!.  Ask anyone who has been to one of their events, there is nothing more fun or "trendier" than a Trendy Event or Party! 

The Trendy Spot, our Event Venue....

The Trendy Spot offically opened their doors in November of 2008.  After coordinating several events in other locations, Trendy Events and Parties realized we needed a permanent home to host some of our events.  The Trendy Spot is the perfect event venue to hold an event of up to 50 people.  The Trendy Spot is located at 2031 Cape La Croix Road, Ste. C in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.  We are located in La Croix Village off of Rt. W in Cape.  Our venue is abosolutely adorable and can be decorated to accomodate any theme.  The Trendy Spot is the perfect location for your child's birthday party, baby and bridal showers, coorporate events, and rehersal dinners.  You can work with Trendy Events and Parties to create a full-service event.  OR If you are more of a planner, you can rent the Trendy Spot by the hour - and create your own event.  Either way, you will have a great location that is sure to "WOW" your guests. 

Events larger than 50 people can be coordinated at the location of your choice.
